 Lotus Elan S1, anno 1964, preparata con specifiche 26R, pronta corse. HTP FIA periodo F classe GTS10, appena rinnovato, dopo una completa revisione della meccanica, 

immatricolata per uso stradale con documenti italiani. 

 

Peso a vuoto 540 kg (portato al minimo di 570 con zavorra): l'auto è stata preparata e restaurata perseguendo l’obiettivo della leggerezza, partendo da una scocca ultraleggera tipo 26R (peso 41,5 kg) rinforzata e sostituendo tutti i componenti, acquistati in Inghilterra da Tony Thompson Racing (TTR). 

 Motore preparato con oltre 170 cv, nuovo, con sole 6 ore di moto dopo il rialzo generale; trasmissione, freni, frizione, impianto elettrico revisionati. 

 Moltissimi ricambi assieme alla macchina, tra cui un differenziale, 4 cerchi in magnesio, 8 cerchi in alluminio, alberi a cammes, sospensioni, componenti di cambio e di motore (disponibile elenco completo, per un valore di 6/7.000 Euro).

 Mozzi anteriori in ergal sostituiti, inoltre tutte le parti in magnesio o alluminio, pinze in magnesio posteriori Girling. nuove. Installato sistema di cronometraggio GET system GPS con tutti i tracciati europei memorizzati. Serbatoio omologato in alluminio da 52 litri.

 

 Storia completa e documentata: la vettura è arrivata in Italia nel 1984 dopo essere già stata impiegata per le competizioni storiche in Inghilterra dal noto preparatore Simon Hadfield; in Italia è stata di proprietà di vari collezionisti noti nel settore delle storiche. Completamente restaurata dal precedente proprietario che l'ha avuta per una quindicina d'anni, l'auto ora ha subìto il completo rifacimento del motore per poi essere testata in una sola gara del campionato italiano velocità autostoriche nel 2018 dove ha concluso in prima posizione nella griglia fino a 1600.

HTP FIA, sicurezza aggiornata, disponibile per test in pista, pronta per correre nelle principali eventi italiani ed europei: Masters series, Tour Auto, Modena Cento Ore, 6 hours Spa Francorchamps, Campionato Italiano Autostoriche.

 1964 Lotus Elan S1, specs 26R, “ready to race”. FIA HTP period F - class GTS10 - just renewed and regular italian registration for road use; the car is eligible for Tour Auto, Modena Cento Ore, Master Series etc.

 The car weights 540 kgs (570 with ballasts according to the minimum allowed),restored and prepared with care, using ultralight complete bodyshell and chassis reinforced by Tony Thompson Racing, 26R spec (41,5 kgs). Lightness was the main goal during the preparation of this car. 

 The engine was rebuilt one year ago with a final output of 170hps, engine with 4 bolt crankshaft & correct valves, new manifold. Since then, the car was used for just one race (ended in 1st overall on the grid reserved to <1600 cars).

The car comes with 4 TTR 26R 6” mag wheels + 8 TTR 26R 6” alloy wheels, 2 complete all alloy differentials and many spare parts (suspensions parts, hubs, transmission parts, engine parts, tyres, more than 6/7.000 euros of parts).

The engine only has 6 hours of work: almost all parts were changed, for example ergal front hubs, mag or alloy parts everywere, mag Girling rear brake calipers and superlight TTR VTR bodyshell. All suspensions are fully 26R TTR adjustable. The car has alloy new regular 52 liters tank (FIA n. 127 long range tank) with SASSA foam.

 GET system GPS chromo, (with memorized all european tracks) very simple to use.

 The car came arrived in Italy from UK in 1984, when it was already prepared for racing by Simon Hadfield, well known historic cars team principal; here in Italy it was owned by famous collectors and the previous one, during his 15 years ownership, restored completely the car then obtained many victories in the italian historic cars championship. 

 

Racing seat, harnesses for Hans and fire extinguisher system new, FIA HTP valid until 2025.
