 Un insolito Maggiolino 1200, unico per stato di conservazione, con una patina originale, difficile da trovare al giorno d'oggi. Una vera "macchina del tempo" che riporta negli anni '70/'80/'90, con le lire nel portaoggetti ed il ferro di cavallo portafortuna!

 

L'auto venne acquistata il 2 settembre 1968 presso la concessionaria Volkswagen Soverini di Bologna (con tanto di fattura d’acquisto), nel colore Grigio Cincillà con interni rossi in stoffa, dal primo ed unico proprietario che l'ha utilizzata fino al 2005 coprendo un chilometraggio totale di circa 150.000km.

 

L'anziano proprietario utilizzava con cura il proprio Maggiolino, come si può evincere dai numerosissimi appunti conservati a corredo, eseguendo la manutenzione solo presso officine Volkswagen e ricoverandolo sempre in garage chiuso. Circa 15 anni fa, per raggiunti limiti di età del proprietario, l’auto non è più stata utilizzata e noi abbiamo avuto il compito di riportarla in strada: dopo aver bonificato il serbatoio, revisionato i freni, il carburatore e l’impianto elettrico, l’auto è partita al primo colpo. 

Sono stati sostituiti gli pneumatici ed è stato eseguito un accurato lavaggio del sottoscocca, del vano motore e degli interni (di cui sono stati rifatti i due sedili anteriori a causa del fianchetto lato guida usurato).

 

Dopo aver verificato che oltre il 70% della carrozzeria conserva ancora la sua prima vernice, abbiamo optato per presentarla nel suo stato di ritrovamento con i quattro parafanghi tipicamente ammaccati. E' disponibile un secondo paio di paraurti già cromati e pronti per essere montati, così come un secondo set coppe ruota (originali) e terminali di scarico. 

Chi acquisterà l’auto potrà decidere se mantenerla nello stato attuale, oppure se riverniciare i quattro parafanghi e riprendere le due portiere che presentano leggere fioriture nel bordo inferiore. 

 

Presenti libretto a pagine, foglio complementare, manuali, fatture e doppie chiavi.

 

Il Maggiolino MY69 gode di tutte le migliorie introdotte nel modello ‘68, primo fra tutti l’impianto elettrico a 12 volt, con la particolarità dello sgancio del tappo benzina dall’interno e la chiusura di sicurezza del baule anteriore.

 An unusual VW Beetle 1200, unique for its state of preservation, with an original patina, difficult to find nowadays. A "time capsule" that bring you back to the '70s-'80s-'90s, still with old Lira coins and the horseshoe as lucky charm!

 

The car was purchased on 2nd September 1968 at the Volkswagen Soverini dealership in Bologna (as we read in the purchase invoice), in Chinchilla Gray with red fabric interior, by the first and only owner who used it until 2005 covering a total mileage of about 150,000km.

 

The elderly owner used his Beetle with care, as can be seen from the numerous notes kept with it, carrying out maintenance only at Volkswagen workshops and always parking in his closed garage. About 15 years ago, due to the age limit of the owner, the car was no longer used and some months ago we brought it back to the road: after the treatment of the fuel tank, we overhauled the brakes, the carburetor and the electrical system and the car started immediately.

The tires were replaced while the underbody, the engine compartment and the interior were thoroughly washed (the two front seats were redone due to the worn driver's side fairing).

 

After verifying that over 70% of the body still retains its first paint, we opted to present it in its current conditions with the four typically dented fenders. A second pair of chrome-plated and ready-to-fit bumpers is available, as well as a second set of (original) wheel cups and tailpipes.

Those who buy the car can decide whether to keep it in its present state, or whether to repaint the four mudguards and resume the two doors which have slight blooms on the lower edge.

 

The car comes with original "libretto", "foglio complementare", manuals, invoices and double keys.

 

This MY'69 Beetle enjoys all the improvements introduced in the 1968 model, first of all the 12-volt electrical system, with the particularity of the release of the fuel cap from the inside and the safety lock of the front trunk.
