 Questa splendida Porsche 356 “pre-A” 1500 è uscita dagli stabilimenti Reutter il 16 Luglio 1953 e venduta a New York dall'importatore Hoffman nell'elegante abbinamento rosso Pasha con interno integrale in velluto beige, come si evince dal certificato d'origine della stessa Carrozzeria Reutter, che all'epoca costruiva la carrozzeria ed installava gli interni per conto di Porsche, azienda ancora troppo piccola per avere una produzione interamente interna.

Arrivata in Italia all'inizio degli anni '90 bisognosa di un restauro integrale, l'auto è stata appena ultimata secondo le specifiche originarie, con un intervento di altissima qualità.

Il motore e il cambio sono quelli di primo equipaggiamento; tutti gli altri componenti, originali, sono stati sapientemente recuperati e restaurati, come porte, cofani, strumenti, serbatoio ed i tanti piccoli dettagli che distinguono le PreA dalle serie successive. 

Il restauro è stato eseguito dalla carrozzeria Serattini e la tappezzeria da Ferraresi: due nomi che non hanno bisogno di presentazioni in ambito Porsche.

Pronta per una seconda vita, con il rodaggio appena terminato, questa 356 può prendere parte a tutte le principali manifestazioni ed è eleggibile 1000 Miglia. La cura dei dettagli la rende certamente una delle favorite a riconoscimenti d'onore nei concorsi d'eleganza di marca e non. 

Il motore 1500, con poco più di 55 cavalli è stato sapientemente curato ed è brillante, adatto a muoversi con agilità anche per lunghi tratti, forte del peso ridotto della 356.

 This Porsche 356 "pre-A" 1500 was produced the 16th July 1953 at Reutter Carrosserie and sold in New York by the importer Hoffmann in the elegant Pasha red combined with a full beige corduroy interior, as evidenced by the Reutter certificate of origin.

Arrived in Italy in the first 90s in need of a total restoration, the car has been recently finished according to the original specifications, with a top level work.

The engine and the gearbox are matching. All the other original components have been expertly restored, such as doors, hoods, instruments, fuel tank and the many small details that distinguish the PreA 356s from the following series.

The restoration was carried out by Serattini workshop and the upholstery by Ferraresi: two well known names tightened to Porsche that need no introduction in this field.

Ready for a second life - with the running-in just completed - this 356 can take part in all major events and is 1000 Miglia eligible. The attention to detail certainly makes it one of the favorites for honor awards in concourses d'elegance.

The 1500 engine, with something more than 55 horsepower has been restored and balanced with care: it is brilliant to drive with agility even for long distances, thanks also to the low weight of the 356.
