 Un classico per BMW, un classico per gli anni 2000: la Serie 3 E46 cabriolet con il classico 6 cilindri rappresenta il concetto di guida a cielo aperto secondo la Casa bavarese, assieme alla Z3; se la piccola spider era più focalizzata sulla guida sportiva, compatta e con soli due posti, la serie 3 offre quattro posti comodi, una guida agiata per le lunghe distanze e tutto quanto poteva offrire la serie 3 berlina a due o quattro porte. Con l'hard-top montato, l'auto diventa una serie 3 coupè, fruibile quindi in tutte le stagioni.

Immatricolata nuova dalla concessionaria BMW Nanni Nember di Brescia il 30 Maggio 2000, questa Serie 3 cabrio monta il sempreverde motore 6 cilindri 2500 aspirato da 170 cavalli: è stata scelta dal primo proprietario nel colore Topasblau con interni a contrasto grigio chiaro e, come detto, hard top. Inoltre sedili in pelle elettrici con memoria, volante multifunzione con cruise control, immobilizer e cerchi da 17". Per il resto la dotazione di serie era di per sé completa.

L'auto non necessita di particolari interventi, avendo percorso meno di 125.000km con pochi proprietari: tutta la manutenzione è stata eseguita e documentata sia dal libro tagliandi che dagli appunti dell'attuale proprietario che l'ha acquistata 6 anni fa, quando l'auto è diventata di interesse storico. E' pronta per essere utilizzata sia d'estate che nella mezza stagione e, perché no, anche d'inverno a cielo aperto. Il classico motore BMW 6 cilindri è rotondo, non arrabbiatissimo ma brillante: l'equilibrio ideale per una cabriolet "da famiglia". Un buon cambio manuale ben rapportato per una guida confortevole, il bagagliaio di dimensioni generose (specie a capote chiusa) contribuiscono a rendere la vettura molto piacevole e fruibile in ogni stagione. ​

A corredo vi sono anche il carrellino per custodire l'hard top quando smontato, le doppie chiavi, la trousse degli attrezzi completa ed i vari manuali e libretti, compreso il service book. Vettura iscritta ASI, visibile a Bologna previo appuntamento.

A classic for BMW, a classic for the 2000s: the E46 3 Series Cabriolet with its classic six-cylinder engine represents the Bavarian manufacturer's concept of open-top driving, along with the Z3. While the small spider was more focused on sporty driving, compact and with just two seats, the 3 Series offers four comfortable seats, comfortable long-distance driving, and everything a two- or four-door 3 Series sedan could offer. With the hardtop installed, the car becomes a 3 Series coupe, making it usable in all seasons.

 

Registered new by the official Nanni Number BMW dealer from Brescia on May 30, 2000, this 3 Series Cabriolet is equipped with the evergreen 2.5-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine producing 170 horsepower. Its first owner chose it in Topas Blue with contrasting light gray interior and, as mentioned, a hardtop. Furthermore, electric leather seats with memory, a multifunction steering wheel with cruise control, an immobilizer, and 17" wheels were included. Otherwise, the standard equipment was comprehensive.

 

The car requires no special work, having traveled less than 125,000 km with just a few owners: all maintenance has been performed and documented both in the service book and in the notes of the current owner, who purchased it six years ago, when the car became of historical interest. It is ready to be used both in summer and in between seasons, and even in winter, with the top down. The classic BMW 6-cylinder engine is smooth, not overpowering but lively: the ideal balance for a "family" convertible. A good gearbox, a comfortable ride, and a generously sized trunk (especially with the top up) contribute to making the car very pleasant and usable in all seasons.

 

Also included are a trolley to store the hard top when removed, two keys, a complete tool kit, and various manuals and Booklets, including the service book. ASI-registered vehicle, viewable in Bologna by appointment.
